As 2025 begins and the kids are getting  ready for a new school year, it’s an ideal time to reflect on the future. The best way to secure a bright future is to start planning for it today.

This year, Carter Grange is proud to celebrate 15 years of excellence, having designed and built over 2,000 homes since 2010.

In 2024, we proudly completed 175 homes, each of which we are proud and grateful to have built.

After the challenges of the 2022-2023 market fluctuations, the residential building sector has regained stability in 2024. In this more balanced market, discerning clients continue to prioritise quality builders, tradespeople, and suppliers committed to delivering excellence.

There is a lot to look forward in 2025. We anticipate some relief in interest rates and expect banks to become more supportive for those looking to build

At Carter Grange, we understand that every project is unique. That’s why each of our clients is paired with a dedicated designer who works closely with you to bring your vision to life. Your designer will visit your site to assess the surroundings – what’s nearby, which trees to keep and how best to position key spaces like your alfresco or BBQ area. All so that you experience a seamless indoor-to-outdoor transition to sip your morning coffee or entertain in the evening. It’s the attention to the small details that matter most to us.

Once the design is done, you then meet with our interior designers, who will inform and guide you through what’s popular in stone, tiles, internal and external colours, tapware, joinery finishes, timber floors, carpets, electrical and the many choices you have.

Right now, warm tones like deep browns, burnt oranges, and mustard yellows are trending, evoking a sense of coziness and sophistication. Paired with natural materials and layered textures, these hues align perfectly with the growing focus on eco-friendly and mindful living.

Our philosophy remains the same: smart design – the optimising of space rather than designing oversized homes, maximising natural light where possible and incorporating design features to support multi-generational living.

Now, more than any time in the last 15 years, we are seeing clients choose to design and build beautiful single-storey homes.

While double-storey homes remain popular, more clients are opting for designs that cater to their day-to-day comfort and future needs, prioritising personal lifestyle needs over resale value.

In contrast, for our Dual Occupancy clients, the focus remains on creating dwellings tailored to market demands, ensuring they are positioned for future growth and success. The second half of 2024 saw a surge in developers looking to start projects, as they foresee a stronger market on the horizon and understand the time associated with the necessary Planning Process and Construction.

With a team of over 90 full-time employees, Carter Grange offers a seamless end-to-end experience, handling design, planning, demolition, pools, landscaping, and more.

We currently have 6-8 show homes available for viewing every Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 pm, and private viewings can be arranged through our sales team.

We also have several exciting new show homes set to open in 2025, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
